Town today completed the signing of Kelvin Langmead from rivals Peterborough United.
Langmead’s move from down the A45 will see the versatile defender stay at Sixfields til the end of Aidy B’s first full season at least.
Talking to the clubs official website, Boothroyd said..
‘Kelvin has done very well for us, he’s a player who has had success at this level before and he is a wholehearted player.’
‘He is a magnet in both boxes and I think in time he will prove to be a key player for us.’
‘We have got another player we are looking to bring in but that might not happen until next week now.’
Under Aidy B’s helm, Langmead has grown as a player in claret and white. A huge comparison to his performances under Town’s last clueless muppet as manager Gary Johnson.
