Northampton have issued a warning to fans that they’ll need to get to Sixfields early, or risk missing some of he action.

A sell-out is expected for the seasons finale with Oxford United, Chris Wilders former side of course, and plenty of fans will need to collect their tickets from the club ahead of kick-off.

However, with all clubs needing to play at the same time to ‘protect the integrity of the competition’ the football league have made it clear that kick-off can’t be delayed under ‘any circumstance’.

The club issued a statement today reminding people to arrive early, with turnstiles opening at 1.30pm with extra time needing to be given to make sure that entry on time can be gained.
