Chris Wilder once again dipped into the transfer market on Friday when, on the eve of our trip to Plymouth which – lost at Home Park, he brought in Accrington’s James Gray on loan.

The striker, who has managed to score five goals in 20 appearances this season with 12 coming as a starter, is someone that Wilder told the Official Website that he’d been watching for a while and decided to bring him in as he’ll offer ‘something different’ to what we’ve got.

‘James is a player who has always caught our eye, whether playing against us or in games we have been watching.

‘We think he will add something different to our squad. He is full of energy, he has pace and he can run in behind.

‘He is also very aggressive, which is a trait I like, and he can be a real handful to defenders.’

We wouldn’t have signed him if he didn’t offer us something different would we I suppose! The 22-year-old has come in on loan until the end of the season, potentially with the view to a permanent arrival at Sixfields you would think.

This site is looking for an editor (at least a contributor or blogger), so if you’re a fan that can offer us a genuine opinion we would love to share it with the masses.
