The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against York City this weekend.

Northampton Town host York City on Saturday February 6 for the game at Sixfields and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Brendan Malone
Linesmen: Barry Holderness and Adam Crysell
Fourth Official: Brian Durie

Match Day referee Malone (Wiltshire) is yet to officiate a Northampton game this season.

He has however already taken in 20 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 45 yellow cards and four red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Portsmouth and Accrington Stanley on September 5 with a total of seven yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
