The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against York City this Tuesday.

Northampton Town travel to York City on Tuesday February 23 for the game at Bootham Crescent and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Seb Stockbridge
Linesmen: Mark Dwyer and Robert Atkin
Fourth Official: David Storrie

Match Day referee Stockbridge (Tyne) has officiated one Northampton game this season.

He has however already taken in 20 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 72 yellow cards and three red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Carlisle and Chesterfield on August 11 with a total of five yellows being shown and one red. He also handed out six yellow cards in the games between Fleetwood and Port Vale and Rochdale and Shrewsbury – both in September. Six also appeared in December between Grimsby and Shrewsbury.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
