Gary Johnson comes back to Sixfields today for the first time since he was sacked at Northampton manager when he brings his relegation threatened Cheltenham side today.

He’s moved his side to within a chance of Football League survival whereas our League 2 play-off hopes virtually ended for sure on Tuesday with an injury-time equaliser at Oxford but when there’s still a chance there’s, albeit limited, hope!

Marc Richards (Achilles) made his return, in that one-one draw, from injury that has kept him out since early March and was thought to keep him out for the season.

Ryan Cresswell and Jason Taylor (both suspension) complete the bans they have so miss this one but can return next time round.

Cheltenham will be without Lee Vaughan, Wes Burns (ankle), Asa Hall, (Achilles) Jordan Wynter (knee) and Kane Ferdinand (cheek) once again with it a game too soon for Will Packwood (hamstring) but Joe Hanks (illness) should be fine to return.

Both sides need to win, us to retain any chance of a play-off place – which might end regardless, but with Chris Wilder saying that he’ll be going all out for the win it’s one we’ll be hoping that we get! But will we?
