Roy O’Donovan will continue his career with Northampton having accepted the contract that was offered to him.

After a successful short-term spell last season, arriving from Coventry in January, Aidy Boothroyd offered the striker a permanent contract and this two-year deal has been accepted.

With the benefit of pre-season under his belt the 27-year-old is someone that Boothroyd feels could be “a real player” for the club, and I tend to agree!
