The only winner of the massive six-pointer for Northampton, meant to be played at Torquay’s Plainmoor on Saturday afternoon, was the weather.

Heavy rain in Devon this week had left the pitch in bad shape.

A pitch inspection was carried out on Saturday morning and following this, at 10am, Michael Naylor decided that he had no option but to postpone the game due to a waterlogged pitch.

Refunds will be given to those that can’t attend the rescheduled date, which will be revealed shortly.
