Northampton managed to beat the 11pm transfer deadline this evening to bring in Emile Sinclair, however Ishmel Demontagnac had left Sixfields.

Demontagnac made his Cobblers exit this afternoon when his contract was terminated, meaning the winger became the fifth player to be shown the door this month with a contract either terminated or not extended at it’s end.

He had been with the Cobblers since summer 2012.

It wasn’t looking as though Chris Wilder would be conducting anymore business before the transfer window closed but the Cobblers swooped late to bring in striker Emile Sinclair on loan from Crawley until the end of the season.

Sinclair, who only joined Crawley for £100,000 in August, has come to Sixfields with the view to signing a permanent two-year contract at the end of the season for what will be an undisclosed fee.
