From Vital Hereford

Ahead of tomorrow’s League Two encounter against the Cobblers, we caught up with the editor of Vital Northampton.

It’s been an poor start to the season for the Cobblers. Will this continue? What are the weaknesses that need to be addressed?

‘It’s been quite a roller coaster so far this season. We have shown what we are capable of defeating Brighton, Reading and Liverpool in the Carling Cup but this have made our League form suffer. We are just two points above yourselves and I consider Saturday’s game as a must win if we are to start challenging for promotion, our beginning of season target for the 2010-11 campaign.’

Who do you see as your main rivals?

This season, geographically it is Oxford who we play next weekend which I am much looking forward to. Over the last couple of seasons we have had a few good local derbies with MK Dons and Peterborough but unfortunately our relegation two seasons ago has kept us apart.
