Northampton made it through the first round of the league cup with a major upset on Tuesday; we’ll need to cause another one to get into round three though.
The reward for the three-two win at Molineux against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the first round is a second round meeting with another championship outfit Bournemouth.
It is debatable as to what would be the biggest upset, but just winning would be taken as things stand!
We’ll be away again; we’ll head to Dean Court on the week commencing August 25th as Chris Wilder sends out the boys looking to pull off what would be considered another real cup upset.
Can we do it? I think this is actually a tougher game than the first round but if we’re up for the cup we can manage it!
