The league 2 season continues for Northampton at the weekend, with them away.

Bootham Crescent is the venue for Northampton on Saturday afternoon when they take on York City.

York could give youngster Ben Hirst his full league debut due to Ryan Jarvis (damaging ankle ligaments) being stretched off in their league cup defeat to Doncaster Rovers with Wes Fletcher and Jake Hyde (both knee) also out. Josh Carson (knee) is still sidelined.

Chris Hackett (Achilles), Emile Sinclair (groin strain) and Darren Carter (hamstring) should all be able to feature. Sinclair hasn’t played yet this season with knocks in our one-nil win last weekend meaning Hackett and Carter missed the midweek win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Kelvin Langmead (Achilles), Lewis Hornby (tendonitis) and Connor Roberts (groin) are still missing.

Ahead of the game Chris Wilder told the official website: ‘I’m determined not to let this be an ‘after the Lord Mayor’s show’ kind of performance – we have to show consistency and a good attitude.

‘You can’t always guarantee the result but I will demand they are consistent in their approach and during the game.’

Can the great start to the 2014/15 season continue this weekend?
