Forest linked again with Bunn

Northampton Chronicle and Echo have reported that Forest have made a bid for Cobblers` highly rated keeper Mark Bunn. Club Chairman David Cardoza confirmed that Forest have enquired after Bunn but haven`t made a concrete offer. Reports in the Nottingham papers have suggested that a bid of around £200k will be made. Cardoza has stated that this would be no where near his valuation for the player.

Cardoza told the Chron that ‘Mark’s under contract here and we’re delighted to have him at our club because he is a fantastic player and we want to keep him. Everyone has their price but Mark is one for the future and there’s a good chance he could be playing in the Premiership.”

So although Calderwood professes to be a fan of Bunn he only played him in two matches. I can`t imagine Bunn would want to play second fiddle to Forest keeper Smith. Perhaps, as Crowe did at the beginnig of the season he feels Gray is a better manager than Calderwood and will stay at Sixfields with him.

You’re definitely not a fan of CC, but he’s the man that’s gonna take Forest onto the Champs. You heard it here first.

Somehow I Think That if And i Mean IF Forest Get Promoted It Will Be More To Do With Their Strike Force Than With A Keeper!
